Betting tips: NA LCS – Week 3

We’re moments away from Week 3 of the NA LCS, so here are some betting tips for the upcoming matches. As always, we’ll be doing predictions for day 1 and day 2 first and updating the tips for day 3 later on.

Day 1 & Day 2

Team EnVyUs vs Echo Fox

After finishing 10th in the last season, Team EnVyUs has suddenly taken the NA LCS by storm! Their early game is as strong as ever—largely due to their superstar jungler, LirA—but their macro and teamfighting look a lot more polished. That said, their strength of schedule wasn’t great, and Team EnVyUs mostly squared off against bottom-tier lineups. And while Echo Fox aren’t exactly the top dogs of the league, they’ll be the first team with a strong mid laner that EnVyUs comes against. We still believe that Team EnVyUs will take this one due to Echo Fox’s lackluster macro, but it won’t be as one-sided as it might seem.

You can bet on Team EnVyUs winning series with a 2-1 score for odds of 3.00 (2/1) @Betway.

FlyQuest vs CLG

CLG have made a statement in their Bo3 against TSM—and that statement is that they’re shooting for the top of the NA LCS ladder. This team has an impressive combination of talent and strategic prowess that makes them stand out even among other top-tier lineups. On the other hand, FlyQuest have fallen into a slump, and it doesn’t look like they’re getting out of it anytime soon. Their high-risk, high-reward playstyle can be easily punished by a better team, and that’s exactly what CLG is going to do.

You can bet on CLG taking down FlyQuest 2-0 for odds of 1.80 (4/5) @Betway.

 Day 3

Team EnVyUs vs Team SoloMid

There’s no denying that EnVyUs are looking much better this season, but they still have a lot of things to work on. Their macro and teamfighting are somewhat unrefined, and quite a bit of their success depends on LirA.

Even so, their recent upswing in the bot lane puts EnVyUs in a prime position to take advantage of Biofrost’s recent shaky form, and LirA should be able to overpower Svenskeren in the jungle. As long as Seraph and Pirean hunker down against TSM’s solo laners, this team can put up quite the fight in this series. Will they win? Probably not. Team SoloMid still is ahead in terms of teamfighting and rotations. But the match won’t be as one-sided as it might seem.

You can bet on Team SoloMid winning the series with a 2-1 score for odds of 2.80 (9/5) @Betway

Team Dignitas vs Echo Fox

Echo Fox came out with quite the performance against EnVyUs. It seems that this lineup turns into an different team when it’s playing with Akaadian. Their bot lane has stepped up, Froggen continues to be a monster, and—most importantly—Looper has what it takes to match Ssumday in lane and out of it. And if Dignitas can’t rely on their superstar top laner to carry them, they’ll end up running out of options.

You can bet on Echo Fox claiming their victory for odds of 2.20 (6/5) @Betway.
